Important!!!! I need your help!!!

This is my first entry on the world renowned Marmoset Dot Net. There is something going on in this country that is bothering me. I am a veteran of the USAF and I am currently a full time student. I am 100% finanacially dependent on my wife. I own a home in Maryland and I posses a MD driver's license, voter registration card, and my vehicle is registered in MD. My beef is the fact that I can't receive in-state tuition because I was attending a university in a different state (NCSU) at the time that I applied to the my current university (UMBC). UMBC is blind to the fact that I was taking online classes through NCSU while residing in MD. To compound the problem, the MD state legislature is trying to pass a bill that would allow illegal aliens in-state residenct status for tuition purposes, as long as they have been a tax paying resident of MD for at least 2 years. My wife, who I am 100% financially dependent on, has been paying MD state taxes for more than 6 years. I am a veteran of the USAF, 100% financial dependent on my spouse who has paid MD taxes for 6 years, own a home, am registered to vote, etc., in MD, but can't get in-state tuition. If i don't get in-state tuition, I can't afford to continue my education. If you agree that this is wrong, please e-mail or write the President of UMBC, FREEMAN A. HRABOWSKI, on my behalf. My name is Derek Brueggen and I am in my final residency appeal process at UMBC. His e-mail is hrabowsk@umbc.edu. His address is available at www.umbc.edu. I need all the help I can get. Thanks for your support.
